The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the morning on Feb. 14.
According to a news release, patrol officers were called to the 1500 block of East Fayette Street at approximately 11:01 a.m. for reports of shots being fired, where they found an unidentified woman suffering from an apparent gunshot to the neck.
The medics took the victim to an area hospital, where she was pronounced dead shortly after.
