The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide in the afternoon on April 6.
According to a news release, patrol officers were called to the 1400 block of North Luzerene Avenue around 3:16 p.m., where they found an unidentified man suffering from a gunshot to the torso. The officer rendered aid to the wound victim and called the paramedics.
The medics took the victim to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after.
Homicide investigators responded to the location and assumed control of the investigation.
