The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting in the evening on April 7.
According to a news release, officers were called to the 2400 block of E. Monument Street at approximately 5:30 p.m. for discharging a firearm, where they found an unidentified man suffering from a gunshot wound.
The medics took the victim to John Hopkins hospital, where he died shortly after.
A second victim, an adult male, was found suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound in the 500 block of Montford Avenue, said police.
