Two Out of the Three Victims Found Shot on Frankford Avenue Died

The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide in the evening of June 26. 

According to a news release, officers were patrolling the area of Frankford Avenue and Sinclair Lane around 7:55 p.m. when they heard shots fired. Officers were called to the 5300 block of Frankford Avenue, where three victims were found, 21-year-old Devonta Powell, and 26-year-old Dametrius Johnson along with a 28-year-old woman suffering from gunshot wounds.

One of the male victims was pronounced dead at the scene. While the other man and woman were taken to local hospitals. The male victim was in a serious condition but later died from his injuries. The female victim’s injuries are non-life threatening

Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over the investigation.
