Two Months Later, Suspect Arrested for Murder

The Baltimore Police Department reported July 2 that a suspect was arrested for fatally shooting 43-year-old Kevin Adams on April 27 on the 1800 block of Bloomingdale Road.

According to a press release, Baltimore resident Raymond Roman was arrested on July 1 while on the 3400 block of Liberty Heights Avenue.

Investigators took Roman, 32, to central booking, where he was charged with first-degree murder.

He also faces charges of second-degree murder, first and second-degree assault, firearm use in a violent crime, manslaughter, reckless endangerment, having a loaded handgun on his person, having a handgun on his person, and discharging a firearm.  

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 29 at the Baltimore City District Court.

As of Friday, there have been 170 homicides in Baltimore in 2021.
