The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a non-fatal shooting in the evening on Jan. 31.
According to a news release, officers were called to the 3500 block of Hanover Street at approximately 9:46 p.m. for reports of shots being fired, where they found a 26-year-old man suffering from a gunshot to the neck and a 53-year-old man suffering from a gunshot to the leg.
The medics took both victims to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the victims were on Hanover Street when they heard multiple gunshots. Both victims ran into a convenience store for cover when the shooting began, said police.
