On Oct. 8, at approximately 2:15 a.m., a Southeast District patrol officer was flagged down by a citizen while on the 3100 block of Boston Street, advising he was shot.
Medics responded to that location and transported the 31-year-old male victim to an area hospital for treatment.
At approximately 2:22 a.m., Southeast District patrol officers responded to the 1200 block of South Haven Street, for a report of a shooting.
Once there, Baltimore Police Department officers located an unidentified male suffering from apparent life-threatening gunshot wounds.
Baltimore City Medics responded to the location and transported the victim to an area hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
Preliminary investigation revealed that both males were shot while on the 1200 block of South Haven Street.
Due to the condition of the unidentified male, Homicide Detectives have been notified. Anyone with information is urged to contact detectives at 410-396-2100 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7Lockup.
Update: The fatal victim in this case, 17-year-old Elias Palmer, was pronounced dead on Oct. 12.
