Two men were arrested earlier this month in connection to a double homicide in August.

According to the Baltimore Police Department, officers were called to the 4300 block of Flowerton Road around 8:20 p.m. on Aug. 5 when they found two unconscious men with multiple gunshot wounds inside of a vehicle. The victims, later identified as 26-year-old Brian Christopher Palmer and 33-year-old Darrin Tyrell Stewart, were taken to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center but died from their injuries.

During their investigation, Baltimore homicide detectives and members of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives identified 20-year-old Raekwon Montre Griffin and 22-year-old Montay Daris Shuler as suspects. Griffin was arrested on Oct. 14, and Shuler was arrested on Oct. 18.

Griffin is charged with two counts of first and second-degree murder and drug possession with the intent to distribute, with a preliminary hearing scheduled on Nov. 4.

Shuler is charged with two counts of first and second-degree murder, with a preliminary hearing scheduled on Nov. 18.

Both men are being held without bail at the Baltimore City Central Booking Intake Facility.
