Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Paul E. Alpert presided over a plea hearing on Sept. 11.
Daejon Malloy accepted the deal along with his attorney, Augustine Okeke, present at the proceeding.
Malloy, 20, agreed to five years without the possibility of parole for firearm use in a felony violent crime and 25 years, suspending all but five years, with five years of supervised probation for first-degree assault. The sentences will run concurrently.
Malloy was charged in connection with a shooting on Sept. 23, 2022 on the 3000 block of Rosedale Court. Malloy and codefendant Salim Williams allegedly shot into a house after getting into a fight with a classmate who lived there, according to previous Baltimore Witness reporting.
