The murder case of a 28-year-old Baltimore man has a trial date after being discussed during reception court on Aug. 27 at Baltimore City Circuit Court.
According to the Baltimore Sun, Trevor McDole is charged with allegedly stabbing and killing his brother as well as physically injuring his grandmother after an altercation on Sept. 28, 2019. Officers were called to the 1800 block of E. Lafayette Avenue where they saw McDole naked and running from the scene.
When searching the home, officers found McDole’s brother, 57, dead from an apparent stab wound. The grandmother was found unconscious with non life-threatening injuries.
McDole is charged with first-degree murder, attempted first and second-degree murder, first and second-degree assault, and two counts of using a deadly weapon with the intent to injure.
There is a second case against McDole involving the same incident where he is charged with first-degree murder and use of a deadly weapon with the intent to injure.
The trial is set to take place on March 7, 2022.
