A trial date for co-defendants accused of stabbing and killing a 21-year-old man was set in reception court on June 21.
Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa K. Copeland scheduled Oct. 21 as the first trial day for 20-year-olds Cahari Ferguson and Tyrell White. The trial is planned to last five days and will be with Judge Cynthia H. Jones.
Both Ferguson and White are charged with first-degree murder related to the May 21, 2023, death of Sean Neal Malik Brown. Baltimore Witness previously reported that Brown was stabbed 23 times across his face and body.
Ferguson was denied bail in January.
