Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa K Copeland scheduled the trial date for a 20-year-old attempted murder defendant for May. 7.

Zavon Antonio Beasley faces over two dozen charges, including attempted first- and second-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault, firearm use in a felony violent crime, reckless endangerment, having a handgun on his person, having a loaded handgun on his person, discharging a gun in Baltimore City, and illegal possession of ammunition. 


The trial is expected to last three days before Judge Sylvester B. Cox.
