Vantashia Bridges

Vantashia Bridges is a rising third-year student at Towson University, where she studies Law and American Civilization with a minor in Sociology. Prior to her time at Towson, she was a student at Sussex Technical High School in Georgetown Delaware, taking the Criminal Justice track. Through the Criminal Justice program, she was able to obtain certificates as a paralegal, 911 dispatch, and security guard.

While still in high school, Bridges worked closely with the Georgetown Circuit Court located in Georgetown DE providing legal aid and following closely on new cases. This was significant in her studies as it gave her a hands-on experience of what the legal realm entails. Her experience here landed her a spot at the George Mason CSI camp which allowed her to work under legal professionals to prepare for mock trials, write briefs and begin legal drafting.

Bridges has plans to graduate from Towson and move onto law school at William and Mary. She aspires to become a lawyer within the family courts and to provide counsel to teens and young adults.
