Suspect Arrested Three Days Following Shooting on Washington Boulevard

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) has arrested a 30-year-old man on Sept. 24 in connection to a fatal shooting that occurred three days earlier.

According to a news release, police were called to the 2500 block of Washington Boulevard around 2:00 a.m. on Sept. 21 and found 27-year-old Kevin Kelly with multiple gunshot wounds. Kelly was taken to Shock Trauma, where he died shortly after.

Homicide detectives’ investigation identified Marcus Owens as the alleged shooter, and he was arrested and charged with first-degree murder.

Owens is currently being held at Central Booking.
