In reference to the aggravated assault that occurred in the Central District on Aug. 17, Baltimore Police Department investigators have arrested 43-year-old Timothy Clinedinst.
Investigators learned Clinedinst assaulted 74-year-old David Philpot while on the 1700 block of Eastern Avenue. Mr. Philpot was transported to an area hospital where he later died on Aug. 18.
Mr. Philpot’s body was transported to the Medical Examiner’s office, where the death was ruled to be a homicide.
On Aug. 19, Clinedinst was arrested in Dundalk, Baltimore County and transported to Baltimore Police headquarters, where he was debriefed before being transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility where he was charged with manslaughter.
