Southwest District Officers Respond to Fatal Shooting on W. Pratt Street

On Aug. 12, at approximately 12:06 p.m., Southwest District officers with the Baltimore Police Department responded to the 2500 block of W. Pratt Street for a ShotSpotter alert. 

Officers responded to the location and discovered an unidentified adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was pronounced by medical professionals. 

Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over the investigation.
