Members of the Warrant Task Force for the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) have arrested a man in reference to the murder of 32-year-old Donald White.
On Feb. 23, 41-year-old Julius Tyrone Johnson was arrested in the 300 block of Monroe Street.
Johnson was transported to the homicide section, where detectives interviewed him, and then to Central Booking, where he was officially charged with first-degree murder.
Julius Tyrone Johnson is being held at Central Booking without bail.
On June 7, 2022, at approximately 6:45 a.m., White was shot in the 1900 block of Ramsey Street and pronounced deceased at the scene by medics.
Homicide detectives responded and assumed control of the investigation.
Detectives collected physical evidence, reviewed video footage, interviewed witnesses, and were ultimately able to identify the shooting suspect.
