Southern District Detectives Seeking Answers in South Monroe Street Non-Fatal Shooting

On May 28, at approximately 6:35 p.m., Southern District patrol officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the 1100 block of Dover Street, for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 33–year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to an area hospital where he is listed in critical condition.

Investigators believe the shooting occurred in the 200 block of South Monroe Street, where a crime scene was located.
