Southeast District Officers Respond to Hospital Call Regarding Walk-In Shooting Victim

On July 31, at approximately 5:17 p.m., officers responded to the 2500 block of McElderry Street to investigate a call for a discharging.

Upon arrival, officers discovered evidence of a shooting. Officers were then advised that an area hospital had a walk-in shooting victim. 

Upon arriving at the area hospital, officers observed an unidentified male suffering from a gunshot wound to his body. 

Southeast District shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
