Southeast District Officers Report Shooting of 15-Year-Old on Ponca Street

On May 21, at approximately 1:45 a.m., Southeast District officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the 1300 block of Ponca Street to investigate a report of a discharging.

Officers were then notified of a walk-in shooting victim at an area hospital.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 15-year-old male suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his left arm.

Further investigation revealed that this incident had occurred in the 1100 block of Ponca Street.

Southeast District shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
