ShotSpotter Alerts Lead Officers to Fatal Shooting Victim

On Oct. 7, at around 10:56 p.m., Baltimore Police Department officers responded to the 2300 block of Harford Road to investigate ShotSpotter alerts. 

Upon arrival, officers observed a 26-year-old male suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was soon after pronounced deceased. 

Homicide detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over this investigation.

Update: On Oct. 8, BPD identified the victim as Damien Parker.
