Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa K. Copeland set a July 28 jury trial for Derrien Gamble, 22, on April 11. Judge Martin Schreiber II will preside over the hearing.
Gamble is charged with attempted first- and second-degree murder for allegedly shooting and injuring two victims on Feb. 4, 2023 in the 1500 block of Melford Road. Both victims were transported to a hospital for their injuries.
He was arrested Feb. 14, 2023 in the 200 block of E. Fayette Street without incident. He was 19 years old at the time.
On April 1, Gamble was found guilty of the murder of Tyree Bell, 19, in a case covered by Baltimore Witness.
