A 52-year-old Baltimore man involved in a non-fatal shooting accepted a plea offer of time served with three years supervised probation on April 8 before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Lynn Stewart Mays. Antonio Chase is charged with possession of a firearm with a felony conviction, illegal possession of a regulated firearm, having a handgun on his person, having a handgun in a vehicle, discharging firearms, and illegal possession of ammo in connection to an incident on June 5, 2021. On Friday, Judge Mays listened as the defendant pleaded guilty to a non-fatal shooting, accepting the prosecutor’s plea offer of five years suspending all but time served with three years on supervised probation for illegal possession of a regulated firearm. Chase was represented by defense attorney Singleton Matthews, a stand-in for Warren Brown. Under the plea, the defendant must register as a gun offender. Chase was previously convicted of possession of a firearm with a felony conviction and sentenced to five years on April 23, 2015; second-degree murder with a sentence of 28 years suspending all but 21 years with five years on supervised probation on May 24, 2010; use of a handgun while committing a crime with a sentence of 10 years on Aug.
