A mistrial was declared on Dec. 15 in the case of three co-defendants charged with the murder of 33-year-old Antonio Lamont Jackson after the jury was unable to make a unanimous decision.
Darian Adams, 27, Raquan Baylor, 26, and Kamar Robinson, 21, are currently scheduled for a retrial on Sept. 11, 2023.
The trio’s trial began on Dec. 7 and last seven days before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Ronald Silkworth as the prosecution insisted that the 10 gunshots that killed Jackson “were by design” with “the intent to kill” in regards to the July 2019 shooting.
Defense attorneys of Adams, Baylor, and Robinson—Brandon Mead, Michael Tomko, and Bradley MacFree, respectively—each countered for their clients but agreed that evidence was limited linking the three men to the crime.
