Prosecutor Nolle Pros Weapons Case Against One of Three Defendants

During reception court on Jan. 23, prosecutors elected to nolle pros a case against a Baltimore man facing multiple weapons charges.

Defendant Bryce Gray was scheduled for trial in February on Jan. 20, but on Monday the prosecutor reported to Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa Phinn that they will not be prosecuting the case.

Gray, along with defendants Stacy Ellis and William Hall, was charged in connection with an incident that occurred on June 30, 2022.

A bench warrant was issued for Hall on Jan. 20 after he failed to appear in court for his scheduling hearing. Hall is expected to return to reception court on Feb. 1 to discuss a plea offer.

Gray, who was represented by Cynthia Christiani, was charged with two counts of illegally possessing a regulated firearm, knowingly possessing a regulated stolen firearm, having a handgun in a vehicle, having a loaded handgun in a vehicle, discharging firearms, and illegal possession of ammo.
