During reception court on March 7, the prosecution elected to nolle pros a case against a Baltimore man facing multiple weapon charges before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa Phinn.
The prosecution entered a nolle pros on all charges against 23-year old defendant Juan Price-Bey, who is represented by defense attorney Maureen Rowland.
According to court reporting charges, Price-Bey was apprehended by an officer for marijuana distribution on Dec. 2, 2022. Price-Bey attempted to flee the scene, but fell. A gunshot went off, and he attempted to flee again, but was apprehended.
Price-Bey was charged with having a loaded gun on his person, having a handgun on his person, possessing a firearm with a felony conviction, possessing a regulated firearm, illegal possession of ammunition, discharging a gun within Baltimore City, and carrying a handgun within 100 yards of a school or college in connection to the incident.
