During reception court at Baltimore City Circuit Court, the prosecution said they were dropping all charges on Oct. 25 against a man who allegedly shot at another man who was walking his dog.
Dwayne Brown, 60, is charged with attempted first and second-degree murder, first and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, felony use of a firearm in a violent crime, having a handgun on his person, having a loaded handgun on his person, discharging firearms, and illegal possession of ammunition.
According to CBS Baltimore, the suspect started talking to a man who was walking his dog around 11:20 a.m. on Nov. 26, 2020 on the 2500 block of Lauretta Avenue. As the two individuals started to argue, the victim walked away and the suspect had shot at the individual; however, the bullet did not strike the victim.
On Monday, the prosecution dismissed all charges in front of Judge Melissa M. Phinn.
