Private Attorney Enters His Appearance on Behalf of Attempted Murder Defendant

A scheduling hearing for an attempted murder case was continued after a private defense attorney recently entered his appearance on Feb. 1.

Roland Brown appeared before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa Phinn on Wednesday on behalf of defendant Robert Myers. Myers did not appear in court which also prompted the judge to continue his hearing until Feb. 10. 

According to the Maryland Judiciary website, Myers, 32, is charged with attempted first and second-degree murder, first and second-degree assault, use of a firearm in a felony violent crime, possession of a firearm with a felony conviction, having a handgun on his person, having a loaded handgun on his person, having a handgun in a vehicle, having a loaded handgun in a vehicle, malicious destruction of property valued less than $1,000 and two counts of reckless endangerment in connection with an incident on July 27, 2022.
