Police to Investigate Man Who Shot Himself in Rear

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a Western District shooting investigation regarding a self-inflicted shooting.

On Nov. 14, at approximately 7:48 a.m., Western District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.

Officers located a 36-year-old male suffering from an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the rear.

Investigators learned that the victim shot himself while on the 1700 block of Calhoun Street.
