On Oct. 31, at approximately 11:47 p.m., Southwest District patrol officers responded to a home on the 1100 block of Cooks Lane for a report of a shooting.
Once there, Baltimore Police Department officers located a 34-year-old female suffering from a gunshot wound to the wrist and a 36-year-old male, unresponsive, with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Medics responded to the scene and pronounced the male dead at the location. The female victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
Homicide detectives are investigating this incident.
