Police Report 3 Shootings Within 25 Minutes on Sunday

The Baltimore Police Department is investigating three separate shootings that occurred within 25 minutes of each other on Dec. 5.

According to a news release, the first shooting occurred around 3:20 p.m. on Sunday when officers were called to a hospital for a report of a shooting victim. Officers arrived and learned the victim was shot on the 2800 block of Edmondson Avenue.

Around 3:45 p.m., police were called to the 200 block of N. Luzerne Avenue where they found two men with gunshot wounds. The victims were taken to hospitals for treatment.

Police said one of the victim’s injuries were severe, and homicide detectives were notified.

Approximately five minutes after the shooting on N. Luzerne Avenue, a third shooting was reported at an apartment on the 1400 block of Homestead Street. When police arrived, a man was found with a gunshot wound to his thigh.

Medics took the victim to a hospital for treatment.
