The Baltimore Police Department updated the public July 19 about a homicide that took place last week.
According to a press release, the victim was 23-year-old Josiah Rogers. He succumbed to his injuries on July 15 after being shot in the neck on July 12 on the 4100 block of Patterson Avenue.
As of Monday, there have been 189 homicides in Baltimore in 2021.
