Police Investigation in Northeast District

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Northeast District.

On Nov 23, a Northeast District officer was conducting a business check on the 5400 block of Radecke Avenue when he heard gunfire.

A 33-year-old male approached the officer, advising that he had been shot in the leg. The officer rendered aid and applied a tourniquet to the victim's leg. The victim was then transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Preliminary information revealed that the victim was shot on the 4900 block of Frankford Avenue.

Northeast District shooting detectives have assumed control of the investigation.
