Police Investigate Shooting on Laurens Street

The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a non-fatal shooting that left one man injured on the 400 block of Laurens Street.

According to a press release, on Aug. 25 Central District patrol
officers responded to a shooting and located a 24 year-old male suffering from gunshot
wounds.

He was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
The police department says there have been 442 non-fatal shootings in Baltimore this year, which is slightly below the 447 non-fatal shootings that were accounted for at this same time in 2020.
