Baltimore Police Department detectives are investigating a homicide that took place on the 3800 block of S. Hanover Street.
According to a press release, officers heard gunshots on Aug. 20 while they were in the S. Hanover Street corridor.
Officers found 35-year-old Shaketa Causey suffering from gunshots wounds and another victim, a 26-year-old male with a gunshot wound in his leg.
Causey died shortly after arriving to Shock trauma.
The other victim suffered from a non-life threatening wound and was released from the hospital and is being questioned by the police.
Homicide detectives are investigating this murder and are asking anyone with information to call (410) 396-2100.
