Police Arrested Three Repeat Offenders for a Homicide in Southwest District

The Baltimore Police Department have arrested three men for the murder of 31-year-old James Moore that occurred in the early morning hours. 

According to a news release, on Jan. 31, patrol officers were called to the Unit block of Morris Road at Franklintown at approximately 1:51 a.m. for reports of shots being fired, where they found Morris suffering from gunshot wounds. 

The victim was pronounced dead by medical personnel. 

Detectives obtained warrants and arrested 38-year-old Ronnie Harris Jr, a repeat violent offender, 33-year-old Janay Barksdale, a repeat offender, and 40-year-old Morgan Reed, a repeat offender. 

Harris has been charged with first-degree murder, while Barksdale and Reed were both charged with conspiracy to commit retaliation, accessory after the fact to first and second-degree murder, and retaliation and witness intimidation. 

All three suspects are being held at central booking without bail.
