Police Arrest Suspect in September Murder

Detectives from the Baltimore Police Department apprehended at 19-year-old suspect they believe was connected to a homicide on Sept. 14.

According to the press release, police arrested Quontay Spinks on Nov. 1. Spinks is being charged with first-degree murder.

He is suspected of allegedly shooting 36-year-old Antonio Peoples on the 700 block of Aliceanna Street.

Police were also able to connect Spinks to a shooting on Sept. 12 on the 600 block of. Light Street.

Spinks is also suspected to be involved in carjackings on the 1500 block of Russell Street on Sept. 12, the 1900 block of Orleans Street on Sept. 14, and the unit block of South Paca Street on Oct. 4.

Spinks is also suspected of being involved in armed robberies on the 5700 block of Reisterstown Road and on the 200 block of E. Redwood Street on Sept. 12.
