In reference to the shooting that occurred in the Western District on July 29, Warrant Apprehension detectives arrested 41-year-old Michael Childs of Baltimore.
Detectives learned Childs shot a 45-year-old male while on the 2400 block of Pennsylvania Avenue following a dispute.
On Oct. 5, investigators arrested Childs and transported him to Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with attempted first-degree murder. Childs was also arrested on an additional warrant for his involvement in a carjacking.
Michael Childs is currently being held on a no-bail status.
