In reference to the homicide that occurred in the Southern District on April 11, Baltimore Police Department detectives have arrested 34-year-old Michael Conley of Baltimore.
Investigators learned that Conley fatally shot his brother, 27-year-old Devon Thomas, following a dispute on the 3400 block of Spelman Road.
On April 12, 2024, U.S. Marshals and Warrant Apprehension Task Force detectives were able to track Michael Conley to Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and with the assistance of Winston-Salem Police, Conley was arrested without incident.
On June 6, Conley was extradited to Baltimore where he was officially charged with first-degree murder.
Conley is currently being held at the Central Booking Intake Facility with a no-bail status.
