The Baltimore Police Department reported August 5 that a suspect was arrested last month for fatally shooting 24-year-old Demetris Kendrick Hendry on April 24 on the 3400 block of Fairview Avenue.
According to a press release, officers arrested Jonathan Bowman on July 9.
Bowman, 24, was taken to central booking, where he has been charged with first-degree murder.
As of Thursday, there have been 199 homicides in Baltimore in 2021.
