In reference to the shooting that occurred in the Northeast District on Oct. 23, detectives have arrested a repeat violent offender, 35-year-old Richie Briggs.
Investigators learned that the 36-year-old male victim was driving on the 6100 block of Belair Road when he was shot by Briggs.
On Oct. 25, detectives arrested Richie Briggs and transported him to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he has been charged with attempted first-degree murder.
