Police Arrest 59-Year-Old for Elderly Man’s Death

Officers from the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the 900 block of West University Parkway after receiving a call about an aggravated assault.

According to a press release, officers located a 77-year-old male suffering from lacerations to his body. The man died on the scene.

Officers arrested a 59-year-old man, who was also on the scene. According to the release, a preliminary investigation revealed that the 59-year-old man called the police to report that he cut someone who he believed died.

The cause of death is being determined by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
