A 40-year-old man has been arrested for shooting a 21-year-old man on Feb. 12.
The Baltimore Police Department reported the arrest of Christopher Lee exactly six weeks after the incident of a young man being shot around 12:32 a.m. at a gas station at 427 W. Mulberry Street.
The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he was treated for his injuries.
Detectives were able to discern that the victim had attempted to stop the suspect from leaving the establishment without paying for his merchandise when the suspect shot the victim.
Over the course of their investigation, detectives were able to identify the suspect and obtain an arrest warrant.
Following his arrest on March 23, Lee has been charged with first degree attempted murder and is being held in central booking without bail.
