The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Northwest District.
On Dec. 9, at approximately 10:46 a.m., Northwest District patrol officers responded to a shooting report on the 4000 block of West Belvedere Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers located an unidentified adult male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
Due to the victim's injury, homicide detectives have been notified.
