On July 8, at approximately 5:04 p.m., officers responded to the 2800 block of Clifton Park Terrace to investigate a call for a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers observed Cynceray Washington-Greene, 52, suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where she was later pronounced deceased.
A male suspect is in custody regarding this incident.
Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
