Officers Respond to Walk-In Hospital Shooting Victim in Western District

On July 6, at approximately 11:49 p.m., officers responded to an area hospital to investigate a call for a walk-in shooting victim while simultaneously responding to a ShotSpotter alert at the intersection of West North Avenue and North Fulton Avenue. 

Upon arrival, officers observed a 35-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg.

Preliminary Investigation revealed that the victim was shot at the intersection of West North Avenue and North Fulton Avenue.

Western District shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this Investigation.
