Officers Respond to Hospital after Woman Seeks Medical Attention Following Shooting on Division Street

On July 19, at approximately 3:48 p.m., officers responded to the 500 block of Robert Street to investigate a ShotSpotter alert.

Upon arrival, officers located evidence of a shooting and then received a call for a walk-in shooting victim at an area hospital.

Officers were dispatched to an area hospital where they observed a 25-year-old female suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to her leg.

Preliminary investigation revealed that two 28-year-old males were also shot at during this incident, but neither were injured.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the incident had occurred in the 1800 block of Division Street.

Western District shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
