Officers Respond to FATAL Shooting in Southwest District

On Aug. 17, at approximately 11:36 p.m., Southwest District patrol officers with the Baltimore Police Department responded to the 700 block of West Saratoga Street, for a report of a crash.

Once there, officers located 18-year-old Robert Wagner inside of a vehicle suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to an area hospital. The BPD later announced that Wagner died from his injuries on Aug. 23.

Investigators learned that Wagner was shot while on the 600 block of West Cherry Bloom Way, where a crime scene was located.
