On Feb. 7, members of the Warrant Task Force for the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) arrested 36-year-old Cornell Moore on the 4700 block of Mount Hope Drive in reference to the murder of Shabro Meredith.
Moore was transported to the homicide section where he was interviewed by detectives, and then transported to Central Booking where he has been officially charged with first-degree murder.
Cornell Moore is being held at Central Booking without bail.
On Sept. 14, 2021, at approximately 2:24 p.m., 29-year-old Shabro Meredith was shot in the 1800 block of N. Smallwood Street. Meredith was pronounced deceased at the scene by medics.
Homicide detectives responded and assumed control of the investigation.
Detectives collected physical evidence, reviewed video footage, interviewed witnesses, and were ultimately able to identify the shooting suspect.
