The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a homicide investigation in the Northern District.
On June 23, at approximately 10:49 p.m., officers responded to the 5200 block of York Road to investigate a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers located a 38-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man, both suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victims were transported to area hospitals, and the 38-year-old woman was pronounced deceased a short time later.
The 27-year-old man is expected to survive his injuries.
